Located in South Dallas, Cedar Hill State Park is a great place if you are wanting to Elope but don’t want to travel very far. With easy hiking trails and lake access its the perfect place for your Dallas elopement. It requires a special use permit as well as a simple day fee of $7 per person.
Just an 1 hours north of Dallas, Dinosaur Valley is a great place if you are wanting to Elope on the water. It is a state park so it does require a special use permit and a simple day fee of $7 per vehicle. It is a really unique location with a public access rock beach and some stunning rocks and caves. It even has an over look (pictured above) with a small bench near by. If you don’t mind driving north a little bit its one of my favorite locations.
Located in south Ft. Worth Tandy hills is an expansive nature preserve with an amazing view of the city. With over 160 acres of land to explore there are great opportunities for a beautiful and secluded ceremony location. Don’t forget to stop by the overlook at the entrance though and grab some pictures with the Ft. Worth Skyline in the back! This spot requires no permits or fees but parking can be a hassle on weekends so plan accordingly!
Located in the up and coming bishops arts district in Dallas the house of dirt offers a unique location to elope with a small ceremony if you are still interested in having a venue but don’t want the full traditional wedding experience. Pricing can be a little high starting at $366 an hour but the atmosphere is hard to beat! Especially if you want to enjoy a meal with family.
If you are looking for incredible downtown vibes then Venue 4000 is hard to beat. Perfect for small to mid sized ceremonies it offers an incredible 360 view of the city. They even offer some incredible catering deals if you are wanting to enjoy some fine dining after your downtown ceremony. Imagine standing here while the golden hour sunlight reflects off the buildings around you!
If you want to elope at the courthouse, the Dallas courthouse is a beautiful spot to do it. Surrounding by impressive skyscrapers an ornate building itself, it offers the perfect backdrop for a unique elopement experience. It is a courthouse though so expect to go through security!
